Perry Westwood has an art based background with diplomas in fine art and graphic design. In the 80’s he co-founded design company Maximum R & B where he designed and directed audio-visual content for installations and events, TV title sequences and music videos. In the early 90‘s he joined London’s leading corporate communications agency Imagination. Here he became creative director of the film department where he wrote, directed and oversaw some of the UK’s biggest corporate film productions of the time including work for Ford, British Telecom, Guinness and Ericsson. He has been based in Sydney for the last 20 years, working as a TV commercials director. His work often has a softer style with a knack of capturing natural human moments of levity. His portfolio of work is diverse and includes some of Australia’s best-known emotive brand campaigns, stunning visuals, high quality food commercials, moving comedy work and subtle performance pieces.
